AFCAT Exam Pattern: AFCAT Exam Pattern 2021 is prescribed by the Indian Air Force (IAF). AFCAT 2021 is mandatory for all enrolled applicants. Candidates interested in the Ground Duty (Technical) branch must take both the AFCAT and the Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT).

Both exams are administered in an online format. Questions from General Awareness, Verbal Ability in English, Numerical Ability, Military Reasoning, and Aptitude are included in the AFCAT test paper. Mechanical, Computer Science, and Electrical & Electronics problems make up EKT. AFCAT carries a total of 300 points, while EKT carries 150. AFCAT Exam Pattern 2021

1. Online AFCAT Test

2. Air Force Selection Board Exam (SSB)

AFCAT Exam Pattern 2021: Online AFCAT Test

The AFCAT Exam and Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT) is an online test offered at several AFCAT Exam locations. The questions on this exam will be of the objective type. The AFCAT Online Exam is worth 300 points for both non-technical and technical candidates. EKT Exam will be conducted for 150 marks for technical candidates.

• The exam will be conducted in an online mode
• The Online AFCAT Test will be Objective in nature.
• The exam paper will be in English language only.
• For every correct answer, candidates will be awarded 3 marks each.
• 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer
• Conducting authority has the discretion to fix qualifying marks in any or all the subjects of the examination.

AFCAT Marking Scheme 2021

The following is the AFCAT exam marking scheme:

• Candidates will receive three points for accurate answers.
• For each wrong answer, one mark will be deducted.
• Unanswered questions will receive no points.

AFCAT Test Pattern 2021 | Other Important Instructions

1. Physical Fitness: Candidates reporting for the SSB examination should be physically fit because they will be subjected to a variety of tests at the AFSB. Candidates must be able to run 1 mile in 10 minutes, perform 10 push-ups, and perform 3 chin-ups.
2. Permanent body tattoos are only authorised on the inside of the forearm (From Inside of the Elbow to the Wrist).

3. Narcotics: The use and possession of narcotics is strictly forbidden.

4. Candidates who have been found fit by the appropriate medical board and recommended by the AFSBs will be detailed for training, which will be based solely on merit and the availability of vacancies in the various branches or sub-branches.
