Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is jointly regulated by the seven IITs (Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras and Roorkee) and IISC on rotation basis. GATE 2017 examination is conducting by the IIT Roorkee.
The GATE, is an all-India entrance test to screen candidates for their comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in engineering, technology, architecture and postgraduate level subjects in science.
