The candidates seeking admission to Chartered Accountancy (CA) courses of all levels that as the CA Foundation course, CA Intermediate, and Intermediate IPC course, and the CA Final (Old and New Scheme) course could fill out the application form at the official website of ICAI.

Now, the candidates can fill out the application form of ICAI 2023 with an additional fee of Rs 600 as the late application charge. The last date of application for the CA 2023 examinations was 03 March 2023, with the regular application fee.

The CA aspirants must be careful about the basics while registering for the exams on ICAI’s official website. There is no room for any kind of error and for this reason, the candidates must be extra careful while getting themselves registered for exams. Here are the points which you have noted for CA Exam Registration Online-

• You need to click LOGIN/REGISTER on the main tab of the ICAI official website,

• As a fresh student, you must click on ‘New User Register here!‘ to register for the ICAI Exam. You will come across ICAI Registration Form which will pop up on your computer screen. The candidate will have to create a login ID on the official ICAI website, through one-time registration.

• After that, you need to fill in the details as required i.e. Examination (Final – Old & New, Intermediate IPC-ATE_Old, Intermediate New, and Foundation, Select Prefix, Registration Number, Date of Birth as per certificates, Valid E-mail address, Mobile Number, and Landline Number (If any but not mandatory)
• Once you are done click on the confirmation/declaration and ‘Register’ button to complete ICAI Exam Registration
• Once the candidate has registered, he/she will receive a username and password through an email. The same will be shared through an SMS on the phone number furnished at the time of one-time registration.
• When ICAI registration is complete, proceed to fill the application form for your respective examination

Here are the methods or techniques-

• After you are done with the registration you need to visit the official ICAI website,
• Now you must register as a new user for CA Examinations.
• Be careful while choosing the registration number in the drop-down.
• The next method which you must focus on is the authentication process. It is done using course+SRN+DOB.
• When it is over, enter your email and mobile number.
• Now you have to log in with the help of a registration number and password.
• Your next job is to provide the address and other details.
• Don’t forget to validate the email and mobile number.
• You are almost there. Just fill-up the form and upload the necessary documents.
• You need to pay the application fee to complete the process.
• Once you are done download the duly filled form.
• If the image upload does not appear on the printout, the candidate will have to attach two latest photographs (passport size – 3.5X4.5 cms.)– One attested and one non-attested.
• If the Signatures are not appearing in the printout then Sign at specified places. Get it countersigned by the parent/guardian at the specified place (in any case).
• The CA aspirants must keep the printouts of the ICAI CA Application Form 2023 for future reference.

CA Course Application Fee Payment

ICAI has mentioned that candidates can make payment for the CA Application Fee can be paid as under: 

• Debit Card or Credit Card (VISA or MASTER or MAESTRO/ RUPAY)
• Net Banking
• Bhim UPI payment 

The application fee to be paid for CA 2023 examination for different categories is as under:

ICAI CA Selection Process

The hiring process for the CA is done at different levels as per the CA courses. For being certified as a Chartered Accountant, you have to clear all the levels of ICAI examinations.

• CA Foundation course examination (4 papers)
• CA Intermediate examination (8 papers based on New Syllabus and 8 papers based on Old Syllabus)
