Central Railway Paramedical Staff Vacancy details

For the 4 posts, mentioned above, there is a vacancy for a total of 52 seats. The vacancy distribution is something like the one mentioned below:

• 9 vacancies for the post of X-Ray technician.
• 9 vacancies for the post of Lab technician.
• 4 vacancies for the post of Pharmacist.

Eligibility criteria for the Central Railway Paramedical Staff Recruitment 2021 exam

• Educational qualification:

In order to appear in the exam, you must have the following qualifications for the post you wish to apply for:

• Lab technician:

  To qualify for this post you must have completed B.Sc. with either of the following subjects,
• Biochemistry
• Microbiology
• Life science
• Chemistry with biology as an optional or

  main subject

You must have done subsidiary subjects or equivalent plus Diploma in Medical Lab Technology or DMLT, 2 Years course, or B.Sc. In Medical Technology from a recognized institute.

1. Pharmacist:

For this post, you must have a medical background in 10+2 or an equivalent Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized Institution. You should be registered as a Pharmacist as well, under the Pharmacy Act, 1948.

You can either have a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, i.e., B. Pharma, from a recognized University and registered as a Pharmacist as well, under the Pharmacy Act, 1948.

2. X-ray technician:

For this post, you must have completed 10+2 with chemistry and physics as well as a Diploma, 2-year course, from a recognized Institute from any of the following subjects,

• X-ray technician
• Radiography
• Radio diagnosis technology

Science graduates with a 2-year Diploma course in the above-mentioned courses are preferred.

3. Staff Nurse:

You must be a certified and registered nurse and midwifery completed a 3-year course in General nursing and midwifery from a School of nursing or any other Institute which is recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.

For different posts, there are different age limits as you can see below:

• For Lab technicians, it is from 18 years to 33 years.
• For X-ray technicians, it is from 19 years to 33 years.
• For Pharmacists, it from 20 years to 35 years.
• For Staff nurses, it is 20 years to 40 years.
