DU Admission Process 2021: Every year DU Admission Process takes place on the basis of merit or entrance exams. For UG Exams, most of the courses offer admission on the basis of  ‘best of four’ aggregate obtained by the applicant in Class 12 exams, while some courses have entrance exams. There will be entrance exams like Delhi University Entrance Test 2021 (DUET), Delhi University Joint Admission Test 2021 (DU-JAT) or Delhi University LLB Entrance Exam 2021 and a Personal Interview (PI). 

Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, there will not be any admissions on the basis of trials for sports/ECA quota. It will be done on the basis of the certificates only. To know about the DU Admission Process 2021 in detail, read the complete blog.

For the DU Admission Process for PG Courses, there will be 2 categories: Merit-based and Entrance test. 

  • Direcrt Admission (Category 1) – If you are applying under this category, you must fill a form in person with the Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board (NCWEB).

Eligibility Criteria For DU Admission Process 2021 For PG Courses

For entrance-based PG programmes, candidates must be eligible under the following criteria to appear for DU PG Entrance Exam 2021

  • Age: There is no minimum age limit for DU PG Admission Process 2021, except in the courses where the respective regulatory bodies such as the MCI, BCI, AICTE, DCI, NCTE, etc. 
  • Equivalence Criteria: Departments/colleges of DU advise the candidates concerned, wherever necessary, to get recognition/ equivalence of their degrees certificates authenticated from the AIU/UGC or equivalent. Further, the cases of equivalence of degrees/ diploma/ certificates may then be put up before the University Authorities for further consideration and confirmation.
  • Reservation Criteria: 22.5% of seats are reserved for applicants belonging to SC and ST (15% for SC and 7.5% for ST, interchangeable, if necessary). A total of 27% of seats are reserved for applicants belonging to Other Backward Classes (OBC).
