• Nationality: The applicant must be an Indian citizen. Foreign candidates can also apply for the exam but they need to fulfill the required eligibility criteria. For Foreign nationals, SC / ST / PwD categories are not applicable.
• Age Limit: No age limit.
• Educational Qualification: Candidates who have obtained/are pursuing their qualifying degree from outside India Must be currently in the 3rd year or higher years or completed their Bachelor’s degree in their field of Petroleum Engineering or relevent field.

• Step 1 – Online Registration: Candidates need to visit the GOAPS portal for GATE registration 2022 for Environmental Science. Candidates will have to use their name, country of residence, email address, and mobile number for applying to the GATE exam 2022. A password also has to be generated for future log-in. An enrollment number is generated on successful registration.
• Step 2 – Filling of GATE 2022 Application Form: Next, the candidates have to provide their valid personal, academic, and communication details. The preferred GATE paper along with two exam centres (one from their zone and the other from another zone) also has to be selected by the candidates.
