The Eligibility Criteria of the IBPS SO Recruitment is based on-

Nationality/ Citizenship

Candidates who want to fill the online form for the IBPS SO Examination should be one of the following-

1. A Resident of India (or)

2. A subject of Nepal/ Bhutan (or)

3. Tibetan refugees who came to India before 1st Jan 1962 with the aim of permanent establishment.

4. Person of Indian Origin (PIO) who has migrated from Sri Lanka, Burma, Pakistan, Vietnam, or East African countries of Zaire, Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, Zambia, Malawi, with the aim of permanent settlement in a country (India).

5. Applicants belonging to categories 2, 3, and 4 should have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Indian Government in their favor.
