Cleaner bioprocesses and sustainable development; classification and

characterization of wastes, analytical techniques in environment monitoring;

wastewater biotreatment: characteristics of wastewater, aerobic and

anaerobic wastewater treatment processes; activated sludge process,

trickling filter, lagooning process, rotary disc biological contractor,

photosynthetic wastewater treatment, biomethanation process, biological

treatment of solid wastes: downstream processing of biological waste

treatment processes, landfill technologies, bioinsecticide, biofertilizer,

biological fuel generation (biodiesel, bioethanol, biohydrogen),

bioremediation of hazardous wastes, biomarker, biosensor.
