Applicants must ensure that they must meet the IOB Eligibility Criteria 2021 formulated by the government before continuing with the IOB Application Form. If you are not fulfilling the mentioned criteria, then you are not allowed to fill out the Application Form for IOB 2021. The eligibility requirements are depended on the age limit, nationality, and educational qualification of the applicants.

Nationality

As per Nationality, Indian Overseas Bank Recruitment specifies that an applicant to be a citizen of the listed states only. A candidate must comply with all of the mentioned criteria:

  • a subject of Nepal or
  • a subject of Bhutan or

  • Probation Period

Applicants recruited will be on probation for 2 years from the date of joining the Bank. Their confirmation in Bank’s service will be as determined by the Bank in terms of Officers’ Service Regulation (OSR).

  • Bond Amount

Aspirants selected for appointment will be required to execute a Financial Service Indemnity Bond for Rs. 1,00,000 (Rupees One Lac) for rendering service for a minimum period of 3 years.

  • On successful registration, an e-mail will be sent to the candidates along with the Registration Number and Password for applying Online. Candidates should note his/ her Unique Registration Number and Password for future reference failing which they will not be able to proceed further.
  • Now, Applicants have to Click the menu “Click here to Apply Online”.
  • Applicants will have to enter all the required details in the online application form.
  • Applicants are required to upload their photograph and signature as per the specifications given in the Guidelines for Scanning and Upload of Photograph and Signature.
  • Applicants should fill in the details in the Online Application at appropriate places very carefully and click on the “SUBMIT” button at the end of the Online Application format. Before pressing the “SUBMIT” button, candidates are advised to verify that every field is filled in the application using the “RECHECK”/ “PREVIEW” button.
