JEE Paper Analysis 2023 – February session Paper 2
February 23rd
- The level of questions asked in the exam was somewhat like the ones asked in the JEE Main February session.
- The level of the exam was moderate when compared to last year.
- Paper 2 had 3 sections – mathematics, aptitude and drawing.
- 25 questions were asked from the mathematics section, and 50 from the aptitude section and from drawing. The exam was 3 hours long.
- According to most of the students, the mathematics section was quite tricky and tough.
- Students found the drawing section and 3D geometry easy.
- The mathematics section was tougher when compared to aptitude.

Paper 1: September 1, 2020
This paper was tougher than the JEE Main January session. Even on the second day, physics was tougher. Here are the details:
- Some questions were asked from 3D vectors.
- 1 or 2 questions were from matrices and 1 from complex numbers.
- Calculus had the highest weightage, then algebra and then coordinate geometry.
- Some questions were asked from coordinate geometry. 1 from probability and 2 from the differential equation
- The chemistry section had more theoretical questions and most of the questions were from NCERT.
- There were more questions from physical and inorganic chemistry when compared to organic chemistry.
- 1 question each was asked from the ionic buffer, solid-state and GOC.
- Some questions were asked from solution colligative properties, electrochemistry.
- Questions of organic chem were based on acidity.
- 1 question each was asked from Tyndall’s effect and Henry’s constant.
- There were calculation-based questions in Physics.
- The mathematics section was a bit lengthy.

The level of chemistry and mathematics was moderate, but physics was tough. The overall level of the exam was moderate. Here are the details:
- Mathematics questions were lengthy.
- There were questions from 3D Vector.
- The chemistry section had conceptual questions.
