Karnataka PGCET Eligibility Criteria 2022

To be able to apply for the Karnataka PGCET 2022 exam, you must fulfil the eligibility criteria. Here is the PGCET eligibility criteria 2022, general and different courses.

General Eligibility Criteria

Here is the general eligibility criteria for all the candidates applying for the PGCET 2022 exam.

  • You must have cleared the qualifying exam from the state of Karnataka.
  • If you haven’t cleared the qualifying exam from the state of Karnataka but studied for at least 7 years in the state of Karnataka, you can also apply.
  • If you are a ward of an ex-serviceman who at the time of joining the defence forces declared his/her home town in Karnataka, you can also apply.

Educational Qualification 

The educational qualification for different courses is different and mentioned below:

  • Full-time MBA

For full-time MBA, you should have a bachelors degree with at least 50% marks (45% for the candidates from SC/ ST and Category – I of Karnataka candidates)

  • Part-time MBA
  1. For a part-time MBA, you must have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for the candidates from SC/ ST and Category – I of Karnataka candidates).
  2. You should also have worked for 3 years in any organization within a 40 km radius from the desired institute.
  • MCA
  1. For MCA, you must have a Bachelors degree in any of Mathematics, statistics, computer science, computer application, computer programming, Business mathematics, and Business statistics as one of the subjects.
  2. Also, you should have obtained at least 50% marks in graduation.
  • Full Time ME/ M.Tech/ M.Arch Course
  1. You must have a valid GATE score.
  2. You must have a relevant bachelors degree i.e BE/ B.Tech/ B.Arch with 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST/Cat-I candidates from Karnataka).

NOTE: If you have a B.Sc degree in mathematics as one of the compulsory subjects, you can apply for the M.Tech course offered by Kuvempu University.

Application Form For Karnataka PGCET 2022

The application form for Karnataka PGCET 2022 will be released on the KEA Official website and that too in only online mode.

  1. You have to fill and submit the application form before the last date.
  2. In the application form, you have to fill necessary details like name, gender, address, qualifying exam passed, marks in qualifying exam etc.
  3. You will also have to upload the scanned copies of your passport size photograph, signature and left hand thumb impression.

Application Fee for Karnataka PGCET

The application fee for Karnataka PGCET 2022 will be different for different category candidates, and is mentioned below:

The admit card for Karnataka 2022 PGCET Exam will be released on the KEA Official Website in online mode. The tentative date for the release of admit card is said to be  in the first week of July 2022.
