Karnataka Exams Authority (KEA) Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET-2015), which will be conducted in August 2015. The PGCET will be held onSaturday, August 08, 2015 andSunday, August 09, 2015.
KEA PGCET is conducted for taking admission to Masters of Engineering (M.E), Masters of Technology (M.Tech), Master of Computer Application (MCA), lateral entry to MCA, Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Masters in Architecture (M.Arch) programs for the session 2015.
Eligibility Criteria for KEA PGCET 2015:
- For MCA Program: A candidate who has passed any recognized under graduate examination or equivalent examination with Mathematics or Statistics or Computer Science or Computer Applications or Computer Programming or Business Mathematics or Business Statistics as one of the optional subjects and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks taken together in all the subjects in all the years of the degree examination is eligible for admission to MCA program.
- For M.E/M.Tech/M.Arch Programs: A candidate who has passed qualifying examination or equivalent examination as prescribed by the Competent Authority and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks taken together in all the subjects of all the years / semesters of the Degree Examination is eligible for admission to M.E. /M.Tech / M.Arch programs.

Application Procedure for KEA PGCET 2015:
- Candidates can apply online.
- Candidates have to pay Rs. 650/- for general and OBC (Rs. 500/- for SC/ST).

Paper Pattern for KEA PGCET 2015:
- The PGCET-2015 will be held in one session separately for MBA, conducted for 100 marks with 150 minutes duration. Each question paper will be of (objective) multiple choice type. The question paper will be in four different versions. Each question will have four different options. Each question will carry one mark.
- The PGCET-2015 will be held in one session separately for MCA programs, conducted for 100 marks with 150 minutes duration. Each question paper will be of (objective) multiple choice type. The question paper will be in four different versions. Each question will have four different options. 60 questions in Part – A will carry one mark each. 20 questions in Part-B carry two marks each. Thus there will be 80 questions and a total mark is 100.
- The PGCET-2015 will be held in two sessions separately for Type – A and Type-B of ME / M.Tech/ M.Arch programs conducted 100 marks with 150 minutes duration. Each question paper will be of (Objective) Multiple Choice type. The question paper will be in four different versions. Each question will have four different options.
