NDA Exam Eligibility | Nationality
To be entitled to NDA 2023, all applicants must satisfy the nationality specifications. An applicant must be one of the following:
1) A citizen of India or
2) A subject of Nepal or
3) A subject of Bhutan
4) A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India or
5) A person originally Indian who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, and Ethiopia or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Note: An applicant in categories 2, 3, 4, and 5 must be an individual in whose favour a certificate of NDA Exam eligibility has been provided by an Indian government. Gorkha applicants from Nepal do not need a certificate of eligibility.
