By following these steps you can check NEET Result 2023.  

  1. Visit the official website of the NEET  
  2. Under Online Services, click on NEET Result 2023.
  3. A new tab will get open. 
  4. Now enter the required details to get the Result  
  5. Enter your NEET credentials such as Roll Number, Date of Birth, and Security PIN, and then submit it after verifying the entered details.  
  6. NEET Results will be displayed on the screen.

NEET Result 2023 Tie-Breaker Criteria

Have you ever wondered whether 2 or more students getting the same marks in NEET Exam 2023? In such a case, the inter-se merit is considered as per the following conditions:

  • Firstly Biology marks are considered. The candidate getting higher marks is preferred in the merit list.
  • If there is still a tie, then the chemistry mark is considered.
  • If it still remains a tie, then the student who has committed fewer mistakes is considered.
  • Lastly, the age of the candidate is taken into account. The older candidate is given higher priority compared to the younger one.

Calculation of NEET Percentile  

The NEET Percentile will be calculated on the candidate’s AIR and its relative position compared to the rank holders. The Candidates can follow this formula to calculate the NEET Percentile 

NEET Percentile= 100× Numbers of candidates appeared with raw score / Total Number of candidates appeared  

NEET Result 2023 Validity

So thinking about the validity of the NEET scorecard? Well, according to the announcement made by the Medical Council of India (MCI), the NEET Scorecard is valid for 3 years from the date of declaration of the result. For candidates who wish to study medicine abroad, then this is good news as the NEET Results will be valid for 3 years.

NEET 2023 Merit List and Counseling

The NTA announces two types of merit lists which are explained below.

1. The first type of merit list is for counseling under 15% All India Quota. The names of all the candidates who had opted for this quota will be sent to the Directorate General of Health Services (Medical Examination Cell), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. Only after this, the candidate will be allocated a seat after the online counseling round.

2. The second type of merit list is for the candidates who didn’t opt for the above Quota. NTA will send the AIR to DGHS, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. Further, the admission committees will look into sending applications for counseling to all the selected candidates.

Later, these committees on the basis of the counseling round will release a separate merit list on the basis of which finally medical seats will be allotted.

NEET 2023 Reservation Policy

NTA has designed a reservation policy to benefit the reserved category candidates who have appeared for the NEET Exam 2023. Below is the table showing the reservation policy.
