PPSC Recruitment 2021 | Eligibility Criteria

To be able to apply for the PPSC 2021 Exam, you must fulfil the eligibility criteria.

Nationality

You must be an Indian citizen and if not, you should be:

• citizen of Nepal
• subject of Bhutan
• Tibetan refugee settled in India since 1st January 1962
• an Indian original person migrated to India for permanent settlement from:

1. Pakistan,
2. Burma,
3. Sri Lanka
4. Kenya,
5. Uganda
6. United Republic of Tanzania
7. Zambia,
8. Malawi,
9. Zaire,
10. Ethiopia
11. Vietnam

Age Limit

You should be between 18 to 37 years.

Educational Qualification

• JE (Civil): Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a university or institution recognized by the Government.
• JE (Mechanical/Electrical): Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent from a university or institution recognized by the Government.
• Punjabi language knowledge of Matric or its equivalent standard is mandatory.

PPSC Recruitment 2021 | Selection Process

• The selection will be based on the written texts only.
• There will be no interviews conducted for this post.
• The candidates who qualify the written exam will be called for scrutiny of documents.

PPSC Recruitment 2021 | Exam Pattern

• For the written exam, you must qualify a minimum of 45% and 40% for SC, BC candidates of Punjab.
• There will be no negative marking in this exam.
