RAC Eligibility criteria
The candidates will only be eligible if they have at least first class in Bachelor’ degree from recognized university along with a valid GATE score. If the candidates are graduates from IIT or NIT then they should have at least 80% aggregate marks.
The eligible candidates will be shortlisted for descriptive examination based on GATE score in ratio of 1:25 where as all the eligible NITs and IITs will be called for descriptive examination. Those who are able to clear the descriptive examination will further will called for personal interview in ratio of 1:5.
For PwD(HH) and PwD(OH) candidates, they will be called for the interview directly based on their GATE score only. There are about 3 vacancies for them which will be filled based on the interview result.
Application Fee for RAC Notification 2019
There is an application fee of about Rs100 for all the male candidates who come under the category of General/EWS/OBC whereas the fee is exemption for SC/ST/PWD/Women.
RAC Salary and Pay Scale
The pay scale provided to the selected candidates will be based on the Level‐10 (7th CPC) of the Pay Matrix (₹56,100).
