RRB NTPC Selection Process 2021: The railways will hold the RRB NTPC Exam for the positions of Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) in various Zonal Railways and Production Units of Indian Railways. There will be five stages to the recruitment process. The stages are as follows:

Stages of RRB NTPC Selection Process 2021

Stage I of the RRB NTPC Selection Process: CBT 1
- A total of 100 marks are available in Stage I of the CBT.
- The candidates will have 90 minutes to complete the exam.
- PWD candidates will have 120 minutes to complete the exam.

RRB NTPC Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT)
- Computer-Based Aptitude Test for RRB NTPC (CBAT) conducted for Station Master and Traffic Assistant take a computer-based aptitude test, while Junior Clerk cumtypist, Junior Time Keeper, Accounts Clerk cumtypist, Senior Clerk cumtypist, Junior Account Assistant cumtypist, and Senior Time Keeper.
- Based on the second stage CBT merit, shortlisting for Skill Tests such as the Computer-based Aptitude Test and Typing Skill Test is done eight times the number of vacancies.
- To qualify, candidates must get a minimum T-Score of 42 on each of the test batteries.
- This is applicable for all candidates, regardless of community or category, and no exceptions to the minimum T-Score are permitted.
- On the CBAT, only English and Hindi will be offered for questions and answers.
- There will be no negative marking in CBAT.
- Only those who pass the CBAT will be placed on a merit list. The marks gained in the 2nd Stage CBT account for 70% of the weightage, and the marks earned in the CBAT accounting 30%.
RRB NTPC Typing Skill Test (TST)
- Qualifying in nature
- The typing exam will be called for eight times the number of vacancies.
- Candidates must type 30 words per minute (WPM) in English and 25 words per minute (WPM) in Hindi on a personal computer with no editing tools or spell check.
Document Verification in the RRB NTPC Selection Process
Candidates equal to the number of vacancies are summoned for Document Verification as per their merit after passing the second stage CBT and based on their performance in the Computer Based Aptitude Test and Typing Skill Test (where applicable). The railway will select individuals if they pass the required Medical Fitness Test.
