SBI PO Result 2021 Stages 

The candidates need to Focus on that SBI Releases results for SBI PO Prelims Exam, SBI PO Mains Exam, and Interview in different stages. Just like the exam is conducted in three stages the results are also declared accordingly. 

SBI PO Prelims Result 2021-22

The results declared for SBI PO Preliminary Exam give out the list of shortlisted candidates who qualify for the mains exam. Prelims exam includes 100 objective questions from the English language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability. The total marks of the exam are 100.  

SBI PO Mains Result 2021-22

The Mains Exam is one of the most important stages in the SBI PO Exam as the merit for the final selection is calculated based on Mains Exam. This Mains Exam includes both objective and descriptive tests. The total marks of the Mains Exam are 250.  

SBI PO Final Result 2021-22

The final result is declared on the marks obtained by a candidate in the Mains and Interview Level combined. In the preparation of the final result, the score of candidates is normalized out of 100. Marks obtained in the Mains Exam are converted to 75 out of 250 while the marks of the interview are converted to 25 out of 50 marks.  

Thus we can say that the final Merit list is prepared to take 75 Marks from Mains Exam and 25 from the Interview.  

On the aggregate calculation of the Mains and Interview marks the merit list is prepared.

The Normalization Process for SBI PO Marks 2021  

This is the common process that is generally used by all the banks in the evaluation of the marks. In this process, the banks evaluate the marks of the candidates based on the topics, questions, and difficulty level of the Examination.

The normalization of the Marks is adopted by the banks to the fair evaluation. In the SBI PO scenario SBI Normalises the marks scored by candidates in various slots of the exam. This normalization is done using the equi-percentile method.
