SSC CHSL Examination Selection Process 2023 Details   

The Staff Selection Commission Recruitment Selection Process will be initiated after the exam is conducted for Tier 2. The candidates who are eligible for the Tier 2 round will be qualified to take part in the CHSL Selection Process. For the selection of the Tier 2 Exam, you are required to clear the Tier 1 exam. This, merit list is prepared based on the performance of the eligible candidates in the Tier 2 exam.

  • Hindi Medium: 30 words/minute

  • The test requirement is the accuracy of words within a given time with the required speed  
  • The duration of the exam is 10 minutes (30 minutes for OH/VP/PH/CP candidates)  

SSC CHSL Selection Process 2023: Final Merit List  

The final SSC CHSL Selection Process includes the merit list. The final selection is done based on applicants’ performance in the SSC CHSL Tier 1 and Tier 2 of the exam. Candidates clearing all the stages of the SSC CHSL Selection Process will make it to the final merit list.  

SSC CHSL 2023 Selection Process: Resolution of Tie Cases

  • The total number of points earned in the written exam.
  • The older candidate’s date of birth is placed higher.
  • The candidates’ first names are listed in alphabetical order.

SSC CHSL Exam Selection Process: Verification of Documents  

The candidates who qualify for all the rounds for the CHSL Selection Process are required to submit all their original documents. These documents are to be submitted to their Department and Post options during the verification of documents. The documents which are required for submission and verification of documents are:-  

  • Class 10 certificate  
  • Class 12 certificate  
  • In case of an equivalent qualification, the candidates have to produce a letter/ order from the competent authority supporting the claim of educational qualification made by the Candidates  
  • Certificate proclaiming the category/ caste of the candidates  
  • Certificate supporting the claim of physically disabled PWD candidates  

You are also required to carry an original photo ID proof and two recent-size photographs. The photo ID proof can be:-  

  • Voter ID card  
  • Aadhar card  
  • Passport

  • Driver’s License 
  • Employer ID (for candidates already employed in the Private/ PSU/ Govt Sector)
