SSC CPO Recruitment 2021: Eligibility Criteria
Nationality
- A candidate must be a citizen of India, a subject of Nepal, or a subject of Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before June 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India,
- Or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam.
Age
- Candidates between the ages of 20 and 25 are eligible to apply for the exam.
- SC/ST candidates have a 5-year age relaxation, while OBC candidates have a 3-year age relaxation.
- Ex-servicemen are eligible for a three-year age reduction.
Educational Qualifications
- Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university or equivalent, according to the SSC CPO Recruitment notification 2020.
- However, if you do not have a degree as of 01-08-2020, you are ineligible and should not apply.
