SSC MTS Eligibility Criteria 2021

To apply for the SSC MTS Recruitment Exam 2021, you have to clear the SSC MTS Eligibility Criteria, set by the SSC. This includes the age limit, educational qualifications and nationality of the candidate.

• Age limit

As per the SSC MTS Eligibility Criteria, the minimum and maximum age limit of candidates is 18-27 Years as mentioned below:

Minimum age – 18 years

Maximum age – 27 years

The category-wise age relaxation is different, and mentioned below:

7	Defence Personnel disabled in operation during hostilities with any foreign country or in a disturbed area and released as a consequence thereof.	3 years
8	Defence Personnel disabled in operation during hostilities with any foreign country or in a disturbed area and released as a consequence thereof (SC/ ST)	8 years
9	Central Government Civilian Employees: Who have rendered not less than 3 years regular and continuous service as on the closing date for receipt of online applications.	Up to 40 years of age.
10	Central Government Civilian Employees: Who have rendered not less than 3 years regular and continuous service as on the closing date for receipt of online applications. (SC/ ST)	Up to 45 years of age.
11	Widows/ Divorced Women/ Women judicially separated and who are not remarried.	Up to 35 years of age
12	Widows/ Divorced Women/ Women judicially separated and who are not remarried (SC/ ST).	Up to 40 years of age.

• Educational qualification

As per the SSC MTS Eligibility Criteria, you should have the following educational qualifications:

1. You must carry the matriculation degree or equivalent examination degree from a certified board.
2. All your degrees/diplomas/certificates awarded by universities set up by an Act of Parliament or State Legislature by Open and Distance Learning modes of education.
3. If you have not yet acquired, but will be acquiring the educational qualification and provide documentary evidence from the Board in support thereof are also eligible.

• Nationality

If you are appearing for SCC MTS 2021, you must be a domicile of India.

1. You must be an Indian resident or
2. You must be subject of Nepal or
3. You must be subject of Bhutan or
4. You must be a Tibetan refugee who came to India before the 1st January 1962, to settle permanently in India or
5. You must be a person of Indian decedent who, intending to permanently settle in India, has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam.
