How to Apply for UPSC IAS Application Form 2021?
UPSC IAS Application Part–I Registration
The UPSC IAS Application process includes two steps. They are known as Part-I and Part-II. For those who are registering for the application first time here is how you can register yourself.
- First, you need to visit the official site of UPSC which is upsconline.nic.in
- Now after opening the official site click on the Exam Notification Tab.
- Later click on Apply Online Link.
- Now click on the link available for Civil Services Part-I registration

UPSC IAS Application Part-II Registration
Now you will look over the Part-II of the registration process. Here you need to complete the following steps.
Step 1:- UPSC IAS Application Fees
- First, you were asked to pay the fee online.
- The payment of these fees can be done through any mode of payment. Some of them are SBI Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card. However, you can also pay the fees offline mode by cash through SBI Bank Challan mode.
- Those applications choose to pay the fees in cash. They should print the system-generated pay-in-slip during Part-II registration and deposit the fee at the counter of the SBI Branch on the next working day only.
- However, this mode of payment by cash mode will be deactivated one day before the application process closes.
- Those candidates who have generated their pay-in-slip before the process is deactivated can make the payment at any SBI branch during the banking hours on the closing date.

Step 2:- Documents Required to Apply online
Now after the payment of the fees you need to upload all the required documents. These documents are photographs, signatures, photo ID cards. However, there are certain dimensions for these documents to be uploaded. Here are the details for these documents.

Step 3:-
Now comes the role of Step three. In this step, you will be asked to fill in the following information in the UPSC IAS Application from 2021.

How to withdraw the IAS Application 2021 form?
Sometimes it happens that candidates wish to withdraw their application forms. So here are the details on how can withdraw your application form.
While doing the following steps you will be able to withdraw your UPSC IAS Application Form 2021.
- First, visit the official website of the UPSC.
- Now click on what’s a new section.
- Go to the withdrawal of the application section.
- There you will find Civil Services Preliminary Examination is written.
- Again click on the Application Withdrawals link given at the right corner.
- Now you are required to read all the instructions carefully and click on the Yes button.
- Enter your registration ID and press continue.
- Enter these following details again:-

9. Now select the option for the withdrawal of the application and press agree.
Here is how you can easily withdraw your application. However, this process of Withdrawal will begin on March 3, 2021. And this process will be available till April 6, 2021. The timings are till 6 PM.
The candidates are required to fill separate forms for the UPSC IAS Preliminary Examination and UPSC IAS Mains Examination. As the Preliminary Examination will take place on June 27, 2021.
So as of now, there is no such notification released by the UPSC for the UPSC Mains Examination 2021. But these two are separate things and forms are also filled separately.
