  1. This time for the 2021 UPSC IAS Exam the candidates who belong to Jammu and Kashmir will not be provided with age relaxation. Also according to UPSC, this will be continued after 2021.
  2. The candidates who belong to Defence Services Personnel, disabled in operations during hostilities with any foreign country or in a disturbed area and released as a consequence, are given relaxation for three years.
  3. The Candidates who belong to Ex-servicemen are provided with an age relaxation of five years. These candidates include Commissioned officers.
  4. The candidates who belong to ECOs/SSCOs who have given their five years in Military Services as of August 1, 2021, also those who have been released. However, this released criteria is applicable for the following citizens:-
  • Those who are invalided
  • On the account of physical disability attributable to Military Services
  • The release on the completion of the assignment. This assignment includes those people also whose assignment is due to be completed within one year from August 01, 2021, otherwise than by way of dismissal or discharge on account of misconduct or inefficiency.
  • The Candidates whose assignment has been extended beyond five years, also in this case the Ministry of Defense issued a Certificate. These candidates can apply for civil employment. Later such candidates can be released in three months’ notice on selection from the date of receipt of an offer of appointment.

UPSC IAS Education Qualifications Criteria 2021

  3. The candidate must not have any back in their exams they are considered eligible only when they have passes ab exam which is conducted by the institutions.
  4. The candidates who have MBBS Degree and have not appeared for an internship. They can be provisionally admitted to UPSC IAS. But these Candidates need to provide their copy of the certificate which was given by universities and Institutions.

  1. The candidate should be a citizen of India.
  2. The candidate could have a subject of Nepal
  3. The candidate could have a subject of Bhutan.
  4. He or she could be a refugee from Tibet who came to India with the intention of permanently settling before January 1, 1962.
  5. But there is an exception as those who are subjected to Nepal, Bhutan, or is a Tibetan refugee will not be considered eligible for appointment to UPSC IAS exam.
  6. The candidates are a person of India origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam, with the intentions of permanently settling in India provided that a candidate belonging to categories of Nepal and Bhutan. They can easily appear for UPSC IAS Exam.
