The Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) conducts an entrance examination every year for admission into technical courses. Currently, the VIT has completed their entrance examination and it is time for counselling. Vellore Institute of Technology(VIT) has announced the detailed schedule for VIT counselling 2019. Counselling is done for candidates who have cleared the VITEEE 2019 successfully. Based on the ranking, candidates will be allocated a seat from a particular branch of Engineering. VIT Counselling 2019
VITEEE counselling 2019 will be conducted on May 9, 10, 11, 13, 14 and 15 at VIT Vellore, Chennai, Amaravathi and Bhopal Campus. Candidates who have been shortlisted have to attend VIT counselling at any of the counselling venues. Below is the table comprising the detailed VIT counselling schedule. How to Register for VIT Counselling 2019?
Below are the steps mentioned for registering to VIT Counselling 2019. Check them out and follow accordingly.
Step 1: Candidates will have to report to the VIT counselling centre and get themselves registered. The designated venue and schedule will be allotted to the candidates according to their rank scored in VITEEE 2019. They will have to select any campus or branch as per the availability based on their rank.
Step 2: After registration, the candidates will have to get the required documents verified.
Step 3: Candidates will be allotted the branch and campus as per the rank scored in the entrance exam, order of preference and availability of seat.
Step 4: The required images of the photograph/fingerprint/digital signature will have to be uploaded.
Step 5: Candidates are required to upload documents on the student profile.
Step 6: The candidates will be required to pay the required amount of counselling fee to confirm the allotted seat. They will have to submit a DD (Demand Draft) for Rs 50,000 /- in favour of ‘Vellore Institute of Technology’, payable at Vellore. Out of which Rs 11,800 will be the counselling fee which is non-refundable.
Step 6: Candidates requiring hostel accommodation will have to submit a separate Demand Draft for Rs 21,000/- (of which,1200/- hostel admission processing fee is non-refundable.) drawn in favour of ‘Vellore Institute of Technology’, payable at Vellore.
Documents to be Submitted while reporting for VIT Counselling 2019
The candidates will have to produce the following documents at the time of the counselling of VITEEE 2019:
- VITEEE-2019 e-Admit Card, Counselling Admit card and VITEEE Result copy
- Class X Board Certificate as a proof of date of birth or any other age proof Certificate
- Mark sheet of Qualifying Examination (If available)
- Class XII Hall ticket (For candidates awaiting results)
- Community Certificate (For SC/ST candidates only)
- Nativity Certificate (For candidates hailing from Jammu and Kashmir and the North Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Tripura).
- DEMAND DRAFT for Rs 50,000/- drawn in favour of ‘Vellore Institute of Technology’, payable at Vellore.
- Demand Draft for Rs 21,000/- drawn in favour of ‘Vellore Institute of Technology’, payable at Vellore, for Hostel
